Good for you! I've never dreaded a birthday (I just turned 34) and I think the trick is not having expectations of what your life is going to be like at a certain age. If you thought by the time you were 30 you'd be making $100,000 a year, you'd be happily married with 2.4 kids and a dog, etc., etc. and you hit 30 and you aren't there yet.... That isn't to say you shouldn't have goals and dreams though! The other trick is to be with a partner older than you. My husband is 11 years older so I never feel old (and he gets to feel young by being with me)! ;)

Oh the big 3-0. I turned 30 myself in May. Feels good so far!! Good luck! (on a side note- I did think that I would have everything figured out when I turned 30- turns out- I don't! :) I can only hope that as each year passes, my wisdom and vision grows.

By the way- great work! :) I can't remember how I stumbled onto your blog- but I check back now and then.
