Just a quick post today since I'm up to my neck in an exciting project that I hope to reveal in the next couple weeks. One of the things I've been doing as part of this task is going through archives of all the weddings I've shot since last spring. It's so neat to see how my photography has grown and changed, but at the same time, there are many similarities as I had established a style for myself a few years ago.
I wasn't expecting to turn up much, assuming that my first few weddings would include a huge learning curve until I got things down, but I found these last night and was really pleased. A very pleasant surprise.
From my first wedding:
Alright, time for me to get back to work. Happy Wednesday!

You've got quite a talent at capturing the moment. I wish I had something neat for you to photograph.

I find myself everyday telling the girls in my office ... "Goodness, I love my wedding photographer; I am so happy with her!" ... and you haven't even shot my wedding yet. I feel so fortunate to have your talented self as part of our special day. You have a gift. You were born to capture the light in people's special moments. Thank you for sharing your gift with all of us. YAY!
